Tax returns are like snowflakes--no two are exactly the same. The tax return fees will depend on what you have. The list on the right is a general breakdown. If you would like a more exact quote, please call me, and we will discuss what your specific return entails.
Note, the fee structure listed includes Federal, State, and Local returns. If you need just one of those three, the fee would be less.
Simple personal returns
Between $115 to $160
This would be people without dependents and just 1-3 forms of simple income, things like wages, pension, and/or social security.
Average personal returns
Between $160 to $230
This is still a fairly simple return but with a bigger variety of income, maybe a couple of schedules and a dependent (no child credits).
Complicated personal returns
Between $230 to $350
This would include a dependent child or other credits, multiple income sources, including wages, pension, dividends, stock sales, etc. For a substantial amount of stock sales, investments, K1’s, or other more unique scenarios, it may go higher than the $275 high end.
Business returns
Start at $230
For a personal return with a simple business and not much complexity, you can expect a return fee around $230. The more complex it is, the fee goes up from there.
Partnerships and Corporations
Start at $425
Like the business returns, the fees for partnerships and corporations start on the low end of $400 and go up based on complexity.
